Sewing So Much Fun.......

Especially with friends so when this hop came along I thought it would be great to include my sewing buddies.

First lets give a large applause to Carla and Madame Samm for all their time and creativity in putting this hop together. It will be exciting to see all the creative ideas that others have done.

Let's start with these creative fabrics from SHE WHO SEWS. I love buttons and tape measures. I have them all over my sewing room.

We make a lot of things to give away so this time I decided make something useful for my sewing room.
An over due cover for my serger who collects a little to much dust but was used in this project. Notice the brooch I choose to add to the cover. This has been in my jewellery collection for year so why have out to enjoy.

Now, here is where my sewing buddies fit into this picture. We gather weekly at each other homes to share ideas, helpful tips and also lots of laughs.

Therefore this Hexagon center piece  ( pattern for center piece by Atkinson Designs .....Merry Go Round...)
coasters and a tea cozy fits in just right for our craft night.

I bet this teapot could tell some stories. Shhhhhh......

Let the tea party begin!
Thanks for stopping by and visit all of the other creators in this hop!

Keep smiling and Keep Creating! Enjoy your visits............

I really am inspired by your serger cover. Using a piece of jewelry that is stuck in a box. Why do we stick such pretty things in a box? Get it out and enjoy, no doubt!

  61. I just came from Marjorie's. I don't think you left anything. I don't think there was anything in your pocket - lol. I love your serger cover and the idea to use your pin. I was robbed of most of the material things I inherited from my parents, including my jewelry and a couple of hand made quilts. The district attorney did not prosecute the perp. Yep, we know who did it. The pain is still so great that I don't enjoy the jewelry I do have. Of course, she took the cream of the crop. Those who say things are only things and they can be replaced are incorrect. Some things cannot be replaced because of the emotional value attached to them. No one can make a quilt by my mother or my husband's grandmother. Maybe it's time for me to think about getting some of my jewelry out, too. Thanks for the idea. The tea cozy and centerpiece are beautiful. Your work is impeccable. Thanks for participating.
